Teresa Feix – Everyday Training and Competition Preparation In Competitive Sports

Teresa Feix is 30 years old and lives in beautiful Liezen in Styria. In addition to her job as an accountant, competitive sports dominate her everyday life. She loves to be outdoors in nature. Whether it's on skis, a bike or on foot, the possibilities when it comes to sports in the mountains are very diverse.

Since November 2020, Teresa had competed in all of her mountain bike marathon races. That same year, however, she had discovered ski mountaineering and this immediately became one of her greatest passions. She was accepted into the Styrian National Team and has been coached by professional trainers ever since. Glacier training on skis already starts in October. To be perfectly prepared for the ski mountaineering races in the disciplines Vertical, Individual and Sprint, long basic units are combined with interval trainings. Until the beginning of spring, Teresa spends most of her time in the area around Schladming, as this area offers the best conditions for this. In the summer, long basic sessions on the road bike and mountain bike as well as intervals are also on the schedule. In addition, Teresa and the team also train on roller skis in classic style.

Daily Training and PANACEO
